A few weeks ago in the “Question of the Week,” I asked which product or topic our readers would like to see more articles on.
The result was the CompactLogix and ControlLogix came in first place, gathering 22% of all votes.
And while I still believe the MicroLogix 1000 is the best PLC for beginners to learn on (via my course at www.PLC-Basics.com) there’s no denying that today the “Logix Family” (Compact and Control) is Rockwell’s premiere offering of Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs.)
With that said, I’ve also received a number of inquiries about to If would be following up my PLC Basics course with one based on RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000 and CompactLogix/ControlLogix.
Which brings me to the purpose of this article, and the question I ask in the below video: Do you see a need for an affordable CompactLogix and ControlLogix training course, and if you do what topics would you like to see covered in it?
So, if you do think there is a need for an affordable Logix training course, please consider visiting www.PAC-Basics.com and sharing your thoughts and suggestions with me.
Update: Course now available at TheAutomationSchool.com.
